Financial Auditor - SMD657
Goals/Mission
Auditors will be responsible for performing assigned Financial Audit tasks by the respective Engagement Manager in the execution of Financial or Integrated Audit Engagements and ensuring that they are delivered with a high degree of quality in support of achieving the prescribed timelines and budgets. This individual must start to demonstrate an understanding of the company's' business operations and its related financial reporting and the ability to identify process risks and controls.

Tasks
* Obtaining an understanding of their Financial Audit Engagement role and objectives and demonstrating an understanding of executing assigned Engagement tasks in accordance with CF A methodologies and polices and procedures.
* Actively planning and preparing the assigned Engagement tasks for Financial Auditing in order to ensure a baseline understanding of process and controls is obtained prior to fieldwork and interactions with client personnel are effective.
* Working together with the Engagement Manager to determine audit program customization requirements, developing the necessary audit program steps to execute specific audit program steps in consideration of team member skills, capabilities and workload balance.
* Performing the determined audit program steps in coordination with the Engagement Manager and other team members, identifying applicable issues and findings, documenting all issues and findings in a clear and concise manner with sufficient supporting detail and working with local people to formulate recommended actions. * Providing timely status updates to the Engagement Manager as requested, ensuring to elevate potential issues and findings as well as project risks and potential roadblocks as the need arises; actively seeking clarification on Engagement task requirements, processes, controls and technical matters.
* Performing a final review of all work papers prior to submitting the work papers to the Engagement Manager, ensuring that all required tasks are completed, appropriately documented, feedback effectively implemented and all issues and findings completely and accurately captured and can be proven by written documents.
* Supporting the Engagement Manager to perform reviews of all Financial Audit Engagement work papers and audit report findings and recommendations, in a timely manner; providing written and verbal feedback to Audit team members and ensuring that all review comments and open items are thoroughly resolved prior to review by the Engagement Manager.
* Leveraging Financial Audit best practice work programs, tools and templates, appropriately tailoring to meet the specific Engagement requirements and providing input to the Engagement Manager for consideration of enhanced best practice documentation to publish on the CF A Portal. Serving as the primary point of contact for the Engagement Manager by providing timely status updates and communicating Engagement risks, issues, roadblocks and technical matters that require clarification.
Education
Degree in finance / accounting completed CTA / CA a strong advantage.
Knowledge/Languages
International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) and IFRS 39 U.S. Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (USGAAP) International Standards for the Professional Practice of Internal Auditing, Standards from the Public Company Accounting Oversight Board (PCAOB) Deutscher Corporate Governance Codex & EU-8th Directive Sarbanes Oxley regulations. Fundamental understanding of its underlying business models, operating, management and support processes and methodologies for sectors or cross sectors
Experience
At least 3 - 5 years experience in a Auditor role in or with multinational blue chip (i.e. Fortune 500) organization or
3 - 5 years working experience within the company and has or becomes the status of Junior Top Talent.
Audit Methodology and Process Potential to develop into Audit Manager position in 3-4 years, and rotate into Business environment in 5-6 years.
Ability to work in multiinationally diverse environment.
