Goals/Mission
The OEM Manager analyses and develops the OEM market in the Southern African cluster. Through in house promotions and presentations he ensures that the market is exploited directly or through the System Integrator channel.
Working Partners/Contacts
IA/DT Sales, Product Management, Service & Support
Tasks
Promotion of TIA based solutions for OEMs.
Analysing existing solutions, design of a new TIA based solution for the customer.
The OEM Manager uses the TIA demonstration equipment to win new customers.
Pre-sales Technical Support, Consulting and System Design for OEMs using the entire IA/DT product range
Reviewing & implementing a strategic marketing plan (SMP) aimed at strengthening and expanding the company's market share in the OEM market segment through direct sales or the System Integrator channel.
Identifying and penetrating new OEM customers within the traditional scope of Factory Automation.
Support IA/DT sales technically and with TIA promotion activities at OEMs and their end customers
Education
Tertiary qualification or equivalent
Knowledge/Languages
Technical knowledge on IA/DT product range Automation and Control systems design, comprising of the integration of IA/DT components into automation systems Communication and presentation skills Sales and Marketing skills Know How of Microsoft Office products
Experience
Automation and Control system design Project experience in engineering and commissioning is useful but not a pre-requisite Leadership experience is advantegous Work in an international team comprising of individuals from various cultures
