Sales Engineer - SMD663
Goals/Mission
The building & maintaining of customer relationships, new & existing, which allows a positive climate for the sale of service products. The Service Portfolio must be sold across all OLM & MT/Mining customers to achieve at least the budgets set for order entry, sales volume & gross profit. Sales should be aimed at proactive service packages with the view to signing up Service Level Agreements to ensure continuous future business.
Working Partners/Contacts
1. This position requires sound working relationships with all members of the I IS OLM team to ensure that your work is conducted efficiently.
2. The position requires sound working relationships with the customers of the company within the framework of Compliance regulations.
Tasks
1. The Oder Entry budget must be achieved at a minimum Gross Margin of 30%. The collection of outstanding money is encouraged to increase the cash flow of the department.
2. Visit customers existing customers & seek new customers in line with a frequent schedule in order to develop sound relationships and achieve set targets
3. Develop, in conjunction with the back office team, concepts / proposals for presentation to customers in order to become firm orders use the tools & processes prescribed by the department.
4. Create & maintain monthly sales forecasts, project lists, call cycle reports & acquisition reporting
5. Keep resource management informed within a reasonable time of possible new contracts in order that sufficient resourcing & compliances of contracts of all sizes can be assured
6. Continuously review your strategy & that of the market & our competitors to ensure maximum growth within your business portfolio
7. Work in conjunction with other divisions to maximise the sales of I IS & the company
8. Assist with the collection of outstanding debts at your customers to ensure that our cash flow targets are achieved
9. Sell all portfolios and all technologies made available by the department specifically aimed at value added / proactive sales.
10. Develop a communication strategy for non core customers in order to support the company's install base
