Goals/Mission
Responsible for executing the commercial, financial and contractual aspects for major projects, in the most balanced, conscientious and economical way. Control all project related activities and take corrective actions where necessary to secure profitability.
Working Partners/Contacts
Project manager, engineering, procurement, logistics, services, accounts department ( debtors and creditors), Bu management, Divisional management, Sector management, controlling, internal audit, legal, SOA department
Tasks
* Financial administration and controlling of projects in line with PM@the company guideline and Reporting guidelines. Executing SOA controls for projects.
* Budgeting and monthly forecasting of project results in terms of cost planning, turnover, profit, debtors, inventories, accruals and cash flow. Ensuring forecasted figures are met
* Asset management of projects in terms of debt collecting, inventories, creditors and cash flow. Risk management of projects in terms of claims management and contractual adherence
* Reporting on project status in project review meetings. Regular customer site visits. * Forex controlling of projects
* Monthly customer invoicing, supplier payments, profit analysis, reconciliations and interim account clearing.
Education
BCOMM Business Administration Training,
Knowledge/Languages
Sound Financial and Cost accounting experience, US GAAP and IFRS - Company commercial and accounting practices SAP R3, Project Systems, Sales Distribution and Logistics modules Understanding of contractual Terms and Conditions Project controlling
Experience
Project Business, Contract management 3-5 Yrs Sales, controlling, accounts receivable, accounts payable, procurement, claims process
Capabilities

Additional Information
PC literate, SAP experience Commercial project experience at least for 2 years
